Amy is a born and raised Texan. She grew up in the Dallas area and spent the last 14 years here in Cedar Park. Amy is graduate of Texas A&M, where she earned  earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Community Health. Gig’em! Amy is a proud mama of three kiddos who keep her very busy and she loves it. If you ask Amy mountains or beach…hands down she votes mountains every time! She loves a good hike up in the mountains.

Before joining Austin Center for Developing Minds, Amy spent time serving and helping in various capacities at her children’s school. In 2019 Amy joined our ACDM team. Her goal in the office is to provide the best experience for our patients by spreading joy and being a light to those she encounters. Amy loves the tight-knit environment at the Austin Center for Developing Minds where she considers it a privilege to come alongside our patients and families on their journey for health and healing.

What will my first visit look like?

We will perform a complete patient evaluation that includes various diagnostics and tests, including routine labs if deemed necessary.

How long does the therapy take?

Depending on the type of therapy program our patients enrolls in, it could look like:
Basic/Local program: 1 hour
Sports performance: 1.5-2 hours (1-2x day)
Intensive program: 1.5-2.5 hours (2x day)
Wellness Care: 1-2 hours (2-4x month)

Does the therapy hurt?

No, our patients may be sore from the passive and physical exercises we initially start doing with them.

Is it okay after surgery?

Yes, some of our patients start soon as they are released for additional therapy immediately following surgery.
