Dr. Mikael Larsen

Dr. Larsen was born and raised in Texas in the small town of Whitney. He knew that he wanted to be involved in the healthcare industry from a young age and started working towards that goal while still in highschool. He Graduated from Parker University in Dallas TX with four degrees at the age of 23. This includes B.S in Anatomy, B.S in health and wellness, M.S in Neuroscience, and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

During his time at Parker University he spent much of his free time studying, shadowing successful doctors, going on Chiropractic mission trips, and attending seminars to master his craft. Dr Larsen first discovered functional neurology during one of these seminars and became intrigued. This is when he decided to pursue a masters in neuroscience to learn more about the field. After graduation he spent two and a half years practicing in Corpus Christi, Texas. While there he provided care in two established offices and helped to open and grow another office before joining the Austin Center for Developing Minds. Dr. Larsen loves to see patients improve and overcome the obstacles that they are dealing with. He has spent countless hours learning various techniques to improve outcomes for his patients and he continues to seek new information. Dr. Larsen plans to pursue a certification from the International Board of Functional Neurology.

When Dr. Larsen is not taking care of patients in the office he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Kelsey, his dog Milo, and his friends. He also enjoys lifting weights, being outside, and playing video games on the weekends.
